How to get there...
Below you can find some helpful information about traveling to Scotland to visit our great event.
We have tried to put all info in one page but there are separate pages about the Hotel and about getting your required Visitor Visa be sure to read up on this before you book anything !

Flights to Scotland
Most of you will probably have to fly to get to Scotland, especially those that come in from the USA or other parts of the globe. We have set up the page below for flights into EdInbugh Airport .
We are not in any facility to assist you in booking cheaper flights but can advise you to look around and search the Internet for the best deals. Take care of the small print, read up on bagage allowance and on what you can and cannot take along with you, especially liquids are still an issue it seems.
A popular website for these is Skyscanner.

Getting to the Hotel
If you arrive by airplane and cannot or dare not to drive to the location there is a very good way to get there by public transport.
If you follow the next suggestions it will get you there.
1. Take a local tram from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh Gateway. This should not take more then 8 to 10 minutes ( 3rd stop ).You can pay Contactless on the Tram, which will be around 8 GBP for a single fare.
2. Once at Edinburgh Gateway, first follow the National Rail signs, then onwards to ScotRail. If in doubt ask locally.
3. Now get yourself a ticket on the train to "FALKIRK POLMONT STATION". You can download a ScotRail App on your phone and buy tickets that way. It's quite easy and affordable or you buy tickets at the station from the ticket-booth ( machine ) . Both options allow use of your bank- or creditcard. Travel time around 35 to 45 minutes.
4. When on the train, get out at FALKIRK POLMONT STATION. Upon leaving the station you can get a taxi to take you to The Inchyra Hotel. Should be around 15 to 20 GBP for a single fare as it's about 10 to 15 minutes drive max.

Car rental
If you feel brave, then you may also rent a car to get about while in Scotland. It's a very nice way to see Scotland and get around.
Keep in mind though that in Scotland they drive on the LEFT.
Also I would suggest to get a car with an Automatic Gear as the steering wheel will be on the RIGHT of the car and your stick-shift will be in your left-hand if you prefer to drive stick.
Those from EU or US may perhaps have some difficulty with this, so automatic is easiest.
Best rent your car from reputable services, which can be found in and around the airport. Book in advance before you take off and there will be a car available when you land !
